A I doubt it, I just have quite a generic face.
Q Cheer up love! (more of an insulting request than a question)
Q What's the title?
A It's on the board.
Q What's your favourite film?
Q What music do you like?
A I have an eclectic taste and I am not at all precious about what I listen to: if I feel like re-living my teenage years I will happily dig out my beloved East 17 CDs; equally, I like Motown, RnB and indie (mainly 90s), classical, and more recently, folk!
Q What made you want to be a teacher?
A I formed 'toy school' at the age of seven or eight. I was the teacher to an adorable class of teddies, dolls and my long-suffering younger brother. I could say that it was fate that I became a teacher, but I didn't dream I would go into teaching until I was 21 and didn't want to be stuck working in a call centre. Having tried out working with children in a challenging school, I realised that I enjoyed it. Being a teacher means you can be an actor (most of us are not really miserable kill-joys); and you can do something that might make a difference. Also, it is a job of extremes: my favourite being high levels of stress rewarded by amazing holidays!
Q Do you have any siblings?
A Yes. Jeff is two years younger than me and Daniel is nearly eleven years younger than me.
Q What do you use to take your pictures?
A I started out using my Nokia Lumia camera phone and have just recently (end of Aug 2014) purchased a compact system camera from Sony (the A5000). I'm so happy to have invested in a better camera because I love taking photos, even though I'm an amateur. I'm really keen to learn and better my skills and have already picked up so many tips from other bloggers.
Q What made you start blogging?
A I have being writing for as long as I can remember. I used to write 'Point Horror' style short stories back in the 90s when I was a young teen; angsty poetry throughout my teen years; and I did creative writing at University as part of my degree. My dissertation was a modern horror novella! Teaching English has made me a better writer, but I am always trying to improve. I spent a good number of years not writing in my mid twenties and I missed it. Blogging was the solution to my writing drought.
